GEZE supports the Children's Museum at the Württemberg State Museum: The place for children to explore culture

GEZE GmbH is supporting The Young Castle (“Junges Schloss”), the Children's Museum of the Württemberg State Museum in Stuttgart, in the form of a partnership for the hands-on ‘Räuber Hotzenplotz’ exhibition held from 20 October 2018 to 23 June 2019. Various productions and interactive areas will welcome children and their families to immerse themselves in the world of the famous robber. The life and work of the author Otfried Preussler, who passed away in 2013 and would have turned 95 on 20 October 2018, is also a theme of the exhibition.

"Supporting educational and cultural projects is very important to us," says Brigitte Vöster-Alber, Chief Executive Officer of GEZE GmbH. "With our commitment to the Württemberg State Museum, we can meaningfully combine the two and provide substance to the variety of cultural events in Stuttgart. We consider the interactive museum in particular to be an outstanding cultural offering for children and are therefore very happy to support it."

Label ‘The Young Castle’

Founded in 1862, the Württemberg State Museum is the largest museum of cultural history in Baden-Württemberg. The collections on display in the Old Castle present world-class treasures and offer an exciting journey through the history of the country, starting from the artwork of the Ice Age hunters through to the Kingdom of Württemberg.
As a separate institution of the Württemberg State Museum, and the first children's museum in the state capital, ‘The Young Castle’ has been a hotspot for children aged four-plus and their families since October 2010, thanks to its hands-on exhibitions.
